Night Visitor was the first of the dream masks which came to me in the night as a powerful dream. Not long after this dream I came across a quote from an Aztec poem which helped me to accept that my dreams were to become a more active part of my waking life. The poem is as follows: "That we come to this earth to live is untrue: We come but to sleep, to dream."
